VISIT THE SAINT-SIMON HOUSE
Open since the 5th of August 2020 and inaugurated on the 6th of September 2020, this facility invites visitors to take a seat in Saint-Simon’s office. The visit opens with the Court of Louis XIV. Visitors young and old can operate the displays to discover the stories behind the scenes at Versailles. Objects of curiosity, method of investigation, everything has been scrutinized!
THE COURTYARD OF VERSAILLES AND ITS BACKGROUND
The first part of the museum is devoted to the introduction of the thought of Saint-Simon. You will thus find the first keys to understanding his work. The context in which the diarist evolves gradually takes shape.
THE SAINT-SIMON METHOD
You find yourself plunging into the very heart of the memoirs. Work alongside Saint-Simon to discover his networks of informants. See the main place of writing of the memoirs : the château of La Ferté-Vidame.
